Hydra Pools Aqua Genie HG130T Skimmer Basket with Handle

Hydra Pools Aqua Genie HG130T Skimmer Basket with Handle

A cracked Aqua Genie basket lets leaves and debris straight through to the pump basket and filter — and the Aqua Genie's tapered basket is a system-specific shape that standard baskets don't match. This Hydra Pools HG130T is the genuine replacement: the tapered, fine-mesh skimmer basket with the lift handle, in the translucent white shown in the photo.

🚩 PRO TIP: The handle isn't a luxury — on the Aqua Genie the basket sits deep, and the handle lets you lift it out full of debris without reaching into the skimmer or spilling the load back into the pool.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

• Will a standard skimmer basket fit? No — the Aqua Genie uses this tapered basket shape; standard round baskets do not seat correctly in it.
• Why does the basket condition matter? Even a small crack passes debris to the pump, where it can clog the impeller and starve the system of flow.
• How often should it be emptied? Check it weekly in leaf season — a packed basket restricts flow to the pump just like a dirty filter does.
