7-Position Functionality

• Filter: Normal filtration and vacuuming.
• Backwash: Reverses flow to clean the sand bed.   
• Rinse: Clears remaining dirt from the valve after backwashing.
• Waste: Bypasses filter for vacuuming to waste or lowering water level.
• Recirculate: Circulates water without passing through the filter.
• Closed: Shuts off all flow to the filter or pool.
• Winter: Unique position for preventing freeze damage during the off-season.

Pro Tip: For a complete leak-proof installation, ensure your Flange Clamp (GMX600NM) is in good condition. We recommend applying a light coat of Aladdin's Magic Lube to the O-ring before securing the valve to the filter tank.
