Take complete control of your pool's filtration with the Genuine Hayward SP714T Vari-Flo XL Multiport Valve. Designed for maximum flow and durability, this 1.5-inch top-mount valve is the industry standard for Hayward Pro-Series and S200 sand filter systems. Whether you are backwashing to clear debris or winterizing for the season, the SP714T’s reinforced thermoplastic body and easy-lever action make pool maintenance effortless.

7-Position Functionality

  • Filter: Normal filtration and vacuuming.
  • Backwash: Reverses flow to clean the sand bed.
  • Rinse: Clears remaining dirt from the valve after backwashing.
  • Waste: Bypasses filter for vacuuming to waste or lowering water level.
  • Recirculate: Circulates water without passing through the filter.
  • Closed: Shuts off all flow to the filter or pool.
  • Winter: Unique position for preventing freeze damage during the off-season.

 Compatibility & Specs

  • Fits Hayward Sand Filters: S164T, S166T, S180T, S190T, S210T, S220T, S244T, and S245T
  • Connection Size: 1.5" FIP (Female International Pipe).
  • Mounting Type: Top-mount with a heavy-duty flange clamp design (allows 360° rotation for easy plumbing).
  • Includes: Integrated sight glass and pressure gauge port.

Pro Tip: For a complete leak-proof installation, ensure your Flange Clamp (GMX600NM) is in good condition. We recommend applying a light coat of Aladdin's Magic Lube to the O-ring before securing the valve to the filter tank.
