🚩 PRO TIP

When installing, hand-tighten the union connections first, then give each no more than a quarter-turn with a wrench. Over-tightening the threaded couplings can crack the valve body — and that means a full replacement. Always turn the pump off and relieve system pressure before rotating the handle to a new position.
