Product Description

Hayward Auto-Skim SP1082 Skimmer Basket SPX1082CA

The genuine Hayward SPX1082CA basket assembly drops into SP1082-series Auto-Skim skimmers and traps leaves, bugs, and debris before they can reach the pump and filter. It is the direct fix when the old basket is cracked, warped, or its handle has snapped off, letting debris slip straight through to the pump basket.

🚩 PRO TIP: Measure your old basket before ordering: the SPX1082CA measures 7-1/16 in across the top, 6-9/16 in across the bottom, and 5 in tall. If your basket measures differently, match by dimensions rather than by looks, because several Hayward baskets look alike.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

  • Will the Hayward SPX1082CA fit my skimmer? The Hayward SPX1082CA fits Hayward Auto-Skim skimmers SP1082, SP1083, SP1084, SP1085, and SP1086. It measures 7-1/16 in across the top, 6-9/16 in across the bottom, and 5 in tall, so compare those measurements with your old basket if the model number has worn off.
  • Is the SPX1082CA the same basket as the B-152? Yes. The Hayward SPX1082CA is the genuine OEM version of the basket also sold as the Aladdin B-152 and CMP 27180-152-000. This listing is the genuine Hayward part.
  • What are the signs my skimmer basket needs replacing? Replace the SPX1082CA basket when the plastic is cracked, the handle breaks, or debris starts slipping past it into the pump basket. A split skimmer basket lets leaves reach the pump, where they can clog the impeller and strain the motor.
