Hayward Perflex Flex Tube Set of 5 ECX1031 13-3/8 in EC30 EC40 EC65
The flex tubes are the working surface of a Hayward Perflex DE filter — the woven "fingers" the DE coats and the water filters through. When tubes tear, fray, or stay stiff with embedded grit, filtration and flow both suffer no matter how well you bump the handle. This genuine Hayward set (ECX1031, the ECX1031PAK5 pack) replaces five 13-3/8 in flex tubes for the EC30, EC40, and EC65 Perflex filters.
🚩 PRO TIP: Count your filter's tubes before ordering — Perflex models take a full nest of tubes, and this 5-pack is for topping up damaged sections or partial nests. For a full rebuild, combine packs and replace the tube-sheet O-rings while the nest is out.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
- How many tubes are in this set? Five, as shown in the photo. It is the ECX1031PAK5 pack.
- Which filters do they fit? The 13-3/8 in tubes fit the Perflex EC30, EC40, and EC65. The larger EC50/EC75 use the 16-1/4 in ECX1032 tubes instead.
- When should tubes be replaced? When they are torn, frayed, permanently stiff, or DE passes through after a fresh charge — worn tubes are the usual cause of cloudy water on a Perflex.
