CMP Wide Mouth Skimmer Faceplate Cover Replaces Hayward SP1085F 25541-000-020

Faded, cracked, or chalky faceplate frame on a wide mouth skimmer? This CMP cover is the cosmetic frame that snaps the whole skimmer mouth back to clean white — the specified replacement for the Hayward SP1085F wide mouth faceplate. It is the visible finishing frame on the pool wall, so replacing it is the fastest facelift a skimmer can get during a liner change or renovation.

🚩 PRO TIP: Swap the faceplate whenever the liner is replaced — the old frame is already off, the new one seals the fresh liner edge cleanly, and you will not match that factory-white look again once the old plastic chalks.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

• Is this the complete faceplate or just a cover? It is the faceplate frame itself — the rectangular finishing frame shown in the photo that mounts over the wide mouth skimmer opening.
• Which skimmers does it fit? Wide mouth skimmers that spec the Hayward SP1085F faceplate. Compare the rectangular frame shape and screw pattern to your old one.
• When should it be replaced? When it is cracked, warped, or sun-chalked — and as a matter of course during a liner replacement, while the skimmer mouth is apart anyway.
